Japanese Telephone… Disconnected.

Moshi-Moshi.

(That’s how you answer a phone in Japan.  It’s true, Google it.)

Today for lunch we ate at the Shogun Japanese Steakhouse.  As most of you probably know you sit at a horseshoe shaped table around the grill and the cook grills the food right there in front of you.  It’s pretty awesome, if you have never experienced it you should.

The table seats about 10, and if you don’t have 10 in your party they just sit you with random people. I’m a big fan of random people, random people are my favorite. Today we only had 4 so the rest were random people. There are about 8 tables all back to back to back to back in one big room so even if you bring 10 people it’s like you are eating with random people.

Anyway, for some reason today I thought it would be a good idea to play the telephone game. You know the telephone game, it is a game we all played in elementary school where the first person whispers something in the ear of the person next to him and then that person whispers it in the ear of the person next to him and so on and so on until it gets to the last person and then that person says it out loud and it usually ends up being something crazy like, “Santa caused global warming with pizza midgets” or something when the original was, “Santa Claus is coming to town.”

The room thought the telephone game was a good idea so we began. Justin whispered into Bill’s ear, Tony whispered into my ear and on and on… until it got to this guy…

For some reason this guy refused to play. He stopped our chain and completely ruined our game.

And later our after lunch thumbs up group photo.

Urusai.

(That’s jerk in Japanese.)
