GO MOCS! GO MOCS! GO MOCS!!!

An Update on The UTC MOCS

by Kevin K Lewis

Last night was another big night for our traindriving mockingbirds of UTC on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Everyone in Jimmy’s audience was wearing a UTC shirt. EVERYONE.

Except Mr Belding.

Yeah, MR BELDING WAS THERE! He is a former Moc. He got a degree in TV Principaling.

Jimmy interviewedUTC Head Coach, Coach Shulman, via Skype and it went really well even though he did not use the nickname I made up for Coach Shulman… “Coach MocDreamy”…. it is based on McDreamy on Grey’s Anatomy.

Also one of my former Sunday School students was on the show! No, it wasn’t Paul Teutel. Not Clive Owen. Not Mr Belding. It was the 3rd tuba player from the left.

His name is Jarred Klein and he was in my Sunday School class.

He also really loves tractors. He didn’t get to talk about that on the show so I just wanted the world to know. He has a photo album full of old tractors he will show you if you want.

Or he can just play tuba for you, it’s really up to you, I guess. Anyway, its crazy to think that I am just one degree of separation from Jimmy Fallon. Via a tuba player. Which is exactly the way I always thought it would happen.

Click on Jarred’s face to watch the video of Jimmy’s MOCS Pep Rally from last night.
